These are very powerful words and I can relate each one to my own failure or success in every area of my life. It is amazing how words like “self-pity” and “fear” can take over before I even have time to turn around. But then all I have to do is plug in to the Bible or even just ask God to redirect my thoughts to focus on Him and I immediately begin feeling encouraged, I begin smiling and my faith and enthusiasm take over again!
It also helps immensely to surround myself with similarly-thinking, positive people!! Ever find that when you hang around “glass-half-empty” people, your own glass starts to look mighty empty too? I hate that!
