Trouble

If you’ve been reading this blog for very long, you’ve read a few posts about our dog Ollie. And so you know that he’s funny and smart (or at least, that we think he is!), and that he keeps us laughing. We definitely dote on him like he’s our son.

Honestly, at this point in time, he is.

A few weeks ago, he was sitting on the couch with us and the following commercial came on T.V.

I love this commercial, probably because I lovelovelove Ray LaMontagne. In fact, Brock and I danced our first dance at our wedding to one of his songs. But that’s beside the point…

At this particular time, Ollie, who typically sleeps while he’s on the couch with us–unless we’re watching the Discovery Channel or Marley and Me (he LOVES to watch both of these!), totally tuned in to this commercial. He perked up and watched that dog stress out about where to hide his bone! It was so funny!

And now every time we give Ollie one of his Dingo rawhide bones, he hides it! Or tries to. He puts it under the couch. And then moves it behind the T.V. Then takes it from there and hides it under the coffee table or the dining room table. He has never done this before!

We can’t help but wonder if it’s because he saw that cute little dog do the same thing on the Traveler’s Insurance commercial?
