Found this in a book years ago and took a photo of it. It’s been on my iPhoto for years. I’ll find the source (of the book) at some point, but for now, it’s good enough to know that the quote is from Albert Camus, whom I love!
I know that this isn’t meant to be taken literally. I know that it means in the darkest and hardest of times, we have stores of strength and hope.
But I can’t help but take it literally… especially right now! After SO MANY DAYS of below freezing temperatures (the last two days were in the single digits!) and So. Much. Snow.
So I’m drawing on my own invincible summer right now.
I’m also counting down the days until spring. We have 57!
