I’m not supposed to covet. But have you SEEN this thing? It’s orange! They don’t make KitchenAid stand mixers in orange. Well, not in this color orange!!
And, I know I already have one. It’s red. Cherry red. And I love it. I use it often. It’s a workhorse in my kitchen. Right up there with my food processor.
But seriously. Have you seen Pioneer Woman’s special edition KitchenAid mixer? It’s hand-painted. And it’s orange! Oh. My. Gosh. I’d reeeealy like one.

Rumor is that she’s giving away 2 of them this week. I missed out on the 2 she gave away last week. But my fingers are crossed for one of these!!

So you’ve got me thinking–can someone hand paint their own Kitchen Aid? I’m thinking a lovely shade of green with apples piled up the side… Not nearly as gorgeous as this one, but maybe a little prettier than my nickel pearl model!

This is fantastic! KitchenAid actually does or did make a mixer in this color of orange. I have it. It’s a great color. They may not make it anymore, as I got mine about 8 years ago. If I was more confident in my skills I would try to recreate this.
